Spanish

For the 2019-20 school year, Kiddo! is providing funding to the district for a Spanish pilot program for all kindergarten and first grade students.

As part of our World Language Program, we were excited to have introduced a Spanish pilot program in the 2018-19 school year to all kindergarteners enrolled in the Mill Valley School District. In the 2019-20 school year, this program is expanding to include both kindergarten and first grade. Taught by two elementary Spanish teachers, this new program is 100% funded by Kiddo! and is designed to help build students’ Spanish language proficiency as well as to help them become globally minded learners who see their connection to a worldwide community.

On this page is a video that highlights this Spanish pilot program. It introduces our teachers and gives a peek into the classroom with kindergarteners having a great time learning Spanish.
