About Kiddo!

Who Is Kiddo!?

Kiddo! is made up of parents, teachers, business people, and active members of the community who, since 1982, have raised over $14 million to supplement our limited school budgets. We currently make a wealth of vital programs – including art, music, drama, poetry, dance, and technology – available to every child in our K-8 schools.

Currently, the Mill Valley School District faces a difficult financial environment, with significant budget cuts from the state, increasing student enrollment and an economic downturn that limits property tax revenues. As the MVSD’s main fundraising organization, Kiddo! is committed to raising the additional funds necessary to protect the quality education over 2,700 Mill Valley students receive. This year your contribution will help save library and classroom aides, as well as preserve the vital arts and technology programs our children deserve. With your support, we can do it!

Our children are a community treasure. Our vision is to inspire children to reach their full potential by funding arts education and other vital programs. Kiddo!’s mission is to support quality educational programs in the arts and other areas for each child in the Mill Valley School District. As concerned citizens, committed parents and advocates for educational excellence, we raise funds, gather resources and act as a catalyst to involve the community in supporting public education. We celebrate the importance, value and achievement of our students, teachers and schools.
